    CCTV Support Engineer

    Job Description

    • We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled CCTV Support Engineer to join our IT team at our Agbara location.
    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CCTV systems to ensure smooth and secure surveillance operations.

    Responsibilities
    Installation of CCTV Systems:

    • Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and surveillance software.
    • Ensure proper wiring and integration with network systems.
    • Set up remote viewing capabilities and connectivity for stakeholders.

    Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

    • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
    • Resolve issues including camera faults, video quality issues, or system errors.
    • Maintain documentation and service records for system performance and repairs

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess an HND / OND / B.Sc Degree in the related field.
    • Hands-on experience with cabling, installation tools, and testing equipment
    • Strong understanding of CCTV hardware and software.
    • Basic networking knowledge (IP configuration, remote access setup).
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

    Payroll Specialist

    Role Summary

    • We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of the company's payroll.
    • This role involves meticulous attention to detail in calculating wages, preparing and processing payments, and resolving payroll discrepancies. As a payroll specialist, you must be able to use MS Excel with accuracy and efficiency.
    • You must be very good with numbers and can be trusted with sensitive information.
    • You must also possess great communication skills to interact with colleagues and executives.
    • The goal is to ensure personnel receive the correct compensation in a timely manner.

    Responsibilities

    • Gather information on hours worked for each employee
    • Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses
    • Receive approval from upper management for payments when needed
    • Address and resolve employee complaints relating to the payroll system
    • Work with company database programs to process payroll
    • Prepare reports to relevant departments about payroll, company budget and expense
    • Prepare and execute pay orders through an electronic system
    • Administer statements of payment (Pay Slips) to personnel electronically
    • Process taxes and payment of employee benefits
    • Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc.
    • Address issues and questions regarding payroll from employees and superiors
    • Prepare reports for upper management.

    Required Skill Set
    Must Haves:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Math & Statistics or related field.
    • 5 years proven experience as payroll specialist or payroll manager
    • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
    • Very good knowledge of legislation and regulations of the field
    • Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software and databases
    • Trustworthy with attention to confidentiality
    • Outstanding organizational ability with great attention to detail
    • Excellent communication skills

    Desired:

    • Experience in a Manufacturing, Construction or Mining sector with a relatively large workforce.
    • Proficient in payroll software (e.g Sage Pastel Payroll, Sage 300 People, Seamless Payroll etc).
    • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.
