Category Manager at Konga Online Shopping Limited

Job Purpose:

• We're seeking a Category Manager to lead product category management, optimize product assortment, and grow our customer and merchant network. The role involves developing and implementing business development and sales strategies to drive category performance and generate leads.

Key Responsibilities:

• Forecast demand, manage stock levels, research best products & suppliers, liaise with suppliers, internal teams, and customers, evaluate bids and make informed decisions, experience in e-commerce/retail/bulk sales is a plus
• Strong product/category management knowledge (Mobile Category, Home and Kitchen category, Automobile category, etc)
• Develop and implement business development and sales strategies, Analyze category performance and market trends, Engage with merchants and partners to drive sales and growth, Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to drive success, Ensure operational excellence and resolve technical issues promptly

Requirements:

• Strong product and category management knowledge, 3+ years of experience in a similar role, HND/BSc in any related field, Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Proximity to Gbagada Lagos environ.
