    Cashier

    Job Overview

    • The Cashier will be responsible for handling all customer transactions at the restaurant/lounge, ensuring accurate billing, proper cash management, and excellent customer service.
    • The role requires honesty, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

    Key Responsibilities
    Cash & Payment Handling:

    • Receive payments from customers (cash, POS, transfers, mobile payments, etc.).
    • Issue receipts and maintain accurate records of transactions.
    • Balance the cash drawer and prepare daily cash reports at the end of each shift.
    • Reconcile sales with cash/receipts and report discrepancies immediately.

    Customer Service:

    • Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with billing inquiries.
    • Resolve basic payment-related complaints politely and escalate complex issues to the manager.
    • Maintain a professional, friendly, and helpful attitude at all times.

    Record Keeping & Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of daily sales transactions.
    • Work closely with the accountant/manager to ensure all sales are properly documented.
    • Provide daily sales reports and submit reconciled cash and receipts at closing.

    Compliance & Efficiency:

    • Ensure all transactions comply with restaurant policies and financial regulations.
    • Safeguard cash and other payment instruments to prevent theft or loss.
    • Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and presentable.

    Qualifications

    • OND in Accounting, Business Admin, or related field (preferred but not compulsory).
    • 1 – 2 years experience
    • Prior experience as a cashier, teller, or sales attendant in hospitality or retail is an advantage.
    • Good numerical and basic accounting skills.
    • Proficiency in using POS systems, Excel, and basic accounting software.
    • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and honesty.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure in a busy restaurant/lounge environment.

    Storekeeper / Inventory Officer

    Position Overview

    • The Storekeeper will be responsible for the efficient management of all food, beverage, and supply inventory in the restaurant/lounge.
    • This includes receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking all stock items while ensuring accuracy, accountability, and compliance with food safety standards.
    • The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and committed to supporting smooth restaurant operations.

    Key Responsibilities
    Inventory Management:

    • Receive, inspect, and record all incoming deliveries (fresh, dry, frozen, and processed goods).
    • Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory management systems.
    • Issue food, beverages, and supplies to kitchen and bar staff based on requisitions.
    • Conduct daily/weekly stock counts and reconcile with records.
    • Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.

    Quality Control:

    • Ensure all goods are stored in proper conditions (temperature, shelf-life, FIFO – First In, First Out).
    • Inspect goods for quality and report damaged/expired items immediately.
    • Enforce food safety, hygiene, and storage guidelines.

    Reporting & Coordination:

    • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for management.
    • Work closely with procurement to reorder supplies when needed.
    • Support cost control efforts by reducing wastage and monitoring usage.
    • Report discrepancies in deliveries, stock movements, or theft to management.

    Compliance & Organization:

    • Maintain a clean and well-organized store area.
    • Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and shelf arrangement.
    • Comply with all restaurant policies, health, and safety regulations.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • HND / B.Sc. in Accounting, Business Admin, or related field (preferred).
    • 2-3 years of experience
    • Proven experience as a Storekeeper, Stock Controller, or similar role in the hospitality/restaurant sector.
    • Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock-keeping procedures.
    • Basic accounting and record-keeping skills.
    • Computer literacy (MS Excel, inventory software).
    • Strong attention to detail, honesty, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
