We are looking for a high performing individual  to join our rapidly growing team in the delivery of our services, comfortable working autonomously across a wide range of activities.  Vectar Energy is a sustainable energy development company invested in integrating Clean Tech with FinTech, delivering incentivized, low carbon, data-driven, and cost effective energy solutions to our clients.

Role

The position involves 3 steps as outlined below, though the approach may be steered somewhat by further discussion as the project progresses:

1. Project Management:

• Identify opportunities,and  scope different client markets  towards the delivery of our products to end users and partnerships to deliver the bottomline

• Build databases of the leads thus discovered having essential information around client information

• Aid in strategic consulting of our  different projects by identifying scope where projects can be further benefited thereby bringing an  upsell to the organization.

• Follow up on tasks and deliverables across all departments 

• Scout and apply for opportunities on behalf of  the organisation

2. Support:

• Meetings with potential B2C & B2B clients , and pitch the offerings that we can offer to clients and partners

• Maintain good relationships with partners and suppliers and keep an open communication with them to understand their requirements and always be on top of their minds when they require our help.

• Provide overall assistance in day to day activities 

• Performing administrative tasks, assisting with other company departments as needed, and ensuring smooth daily operations and managing company executives and other team members

• Maintaining company databases 

• Provide operational and administrative support activities for the organization of internal management and operational meetings 

3. Knowledge Management

• Be abreast of the developments that are happening in the renewable energy industry and carbon offsetting markets.

• Be aware of governmental laws relating to renewable energy projects

• Ample experience in grant writing, venture capitalism, and  startups.

1. Introduction

We are hiring a Technical Product Manager to join Vectar Energy. The Product Manager will work at the intersection of Engineering, the CIO’s office, Sales and Marketing to specify and productize our innovative technology solution.  This person will manage a multi-layered product with software, hardware, networking, and training elements.  The Product Manager will help define the long-term product roadmap, as well as the process by which priorities are set for the next features and other technical improvements to our software. It will also involve market research and interfacing with both customers and partners in this cross functional and high impact role. 

Skills, Requirements and Qualifications

• Technical understanding of software, hardware, and energy(clean tech)

• Experience in Fintech is a plus

• Two years of technical product management of a software product that has shipped to paying customers

• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.

• Proven ability to assess and address technical risks.

• Proven ability to facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation.

• Engineering degree required but not compulsory 

• Professional project management certification from accredited intuition preferred

• Demonstrated understanding of project management processes, strategies and methods

• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

• Comfortable in a fast-paced, start up environment

• Comfortable taking ownership of critical product decisions that will mean the success or failure of our flagship product

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement training processes and strategies for all technical personnel

• Assign and oversee the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones

• Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects

• Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives

• Research and evaluate hardware and software technology options and weigh the cost/benefit analysis when making large purchases on behalf of the company

• Update and maintain all production technologies ensuring proper maintenance and installation

• Create Buy-In For The Product Vision Both Internally And With Key External Partners

1. Introduction

We are looking for a skilled mobile developer with prior developing experience to create and maintain mobile applications for Android, iOS, and Windows devices. The mobile developer's responsibilities include researching UI and UX trends,  and working with colleagues to brainstorm innovative ideas for our new application, combining UI and UX with insight into the latest technology in cross mobile applications.
 

Mobile Developer Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain cross platform mobile applications.

• Keep abreast of the latest technology for mobile applications.

• Create UI tests to source analytics.

•  Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support).

•  Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code.

•  Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions.

• Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions.

• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.

• Design interfaces to improve user experience.

• Liaise with the Product development team to plan and develop  features.

• Ensure  application meet quality standards.

Mobile Developer Requirements:

• Proficient knowledge of relevant computer languages for Android, iOS, and Windows devices.
