    Primary Teaching Assistant

    Job Requirements
     For your application to be successful, you must meet the following criteria:

    • MUST be resident in Ibadan and be able to easily commute to Jericho, Ibadan
    • B.Ed/B.A/BSc/HND - Primary Education gained from a reputable Institution
    • MUST have excellent English Language skills (clear written, reading and spoken)
    • MUST have well developed teaching skills in the core subject areas (English, Mathematics and Science) 
    • 2 years current experience working within Primary Education
    • Ability to write legibly and teach/learn to teach Cursive Handwriting 
    • Be confident in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Be passionate about teaching and able to provide our pupils engaging and exciting learning experiences
    • Have high expectations for behaviour, attainment and progress
    • Have effective classroom management skills and evidence of outstanding teaching skills
    • Have thorough understanding of best practices in teaching
    • Have an appreciation and understanding of the importance of safeguarding in educational settings

    Part-Time Primary Art and Design Teacher

    We seek an experienced Part-Time Primary Art and Design Teacher to join our team to teach one day a week. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of art education within the British curriculum and a commitment to encouraging artistic expression in young learners. 

    The successful candidate will be:

    • An excellent teacher and subject specialist at primary level that can teach high quality art and design lessons to pupils at primary level ranging from year 1-6.
    • Confidently be able to teach children drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, pottery, sculpture and model making techniques
    • Confident in the use of computers and enthusiastic in using new technology to enhance learning.
    • Skilled at fostering independent, pupil-led learning
    • Maintain an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes artistic expression and appreciation.
    • Able to assess and evaluate pupils\' artwork and progress, providing constructive feedback and support.

    Requirements:

    • Must live within easy commuting distance of Jericho, Ibadan.
    • B.A/HND Degree in Fine Arts
    • Minimum of 3 years teaching experience
    • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Package; especially Word and PowerPoint
    • Excellent spoken and written communications skills

    Cleaners

    CLEANERS NEEDED

    A nursery and primary school in Ibadan is recruiting cleaners.

    Key Duties:

    • Thorough cleaning of classrooms, toilets and shared areas
    • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
    • Supporting Early Years classes with non-teaching tasks only, including:
      • Tidying learning spaces
      • Assisting with hygiene routines
      • Ensuring children’s safety and wellbeing

    Requirements:

    • SSCS 
    • Previous cleaning experience (school experience preferred, but not compulsory)

    Early Years Educator – Toddler (15 months+)

    We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Early Years Educator to join our team, working with toddlers aged 15 months and above. This is a rewarding opportunity to nurture children at a crucial stage of their growth—helping them build confidence, independence, and essential life skills within the EYFS framework.

    Qualification, Experience and Skills Required:

    • Must be resident in Ibadan with the ability to easily commute to Jericho, Ibadan
    • A degree in Early Childhood Education from a reputable university
    • Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in early childhood education. Knowledge of the British Curriculum and EYFS is highly desirable; however, candidates with proven experience in childcare who are eager to apply EYFS principles will also be considered
    • Strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development in the 15-month+ age range
    • Excellent command of English (spoken, written, and reading)
    • A professional, caring, and safety-conscious approach to childcare
    • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual children
    • Confident in engaging children through play-based learning, extending their social, emotional, and educational development
    • Skilled in creating stimulating classroom and outdoor activities that promote independence and exploration
    • Ability to produce and maintain high-quality, age-appropriate displays in the learning environment
    • Clear understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and health & safety in early years settings
    • Consistently demonstrates high standards of personal and professional conduct
    • Proficient in basic IT skills (MS Word, internet use) to support lesson delivery and record keeping
    • Patience, stamina, and a good sense of humour to keep up with lively toddlers

    Key Responsibilities

    • Deliver age-appropriate lessons and activities across the EYFS curriculum.
    • Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
    • Support toddlers with feeding, hygiene, and toileting routines, encouraging independence.
    • Observe, record, and assess children’s development to contribute to individual learning journeys.
    • Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure consistency of care.
    • Foster independence, self-help skills, and a love of learning through play and exploration.
