    In- House Legal Cousel

    Job Overview:

    As Jeroid\'s in-house Counsel, you are expected to provide legal advice, support, and guidance to the company, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while mitigating legal risks.

    Key Responsibilities and Duties:

    • Provide legal expertise and guidance on a wide range of legal matters to ensure the company\'s operations are in accordance with legal rules and guidelines, recommending appropriate courses of action
    • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, letters, and other official correspondence, ensuring clarity and accuracy in legal language, ensuring terms align with the company\'s interests and legal requirements.
    • Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards without overtly revealing the compliance function.
    • Ensure that the company adheres to all relevant legal rules and guidelines.
    • This includes identifying potential legal risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
    • Manage legal disputes and conflicts, including providing legal opinions, participating in negotiations, and liaising with external legal counsel when necessary.
    • Identify legal risks in business operations and propose risk mitigation strategies.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of company policies and procedures with legal implications.
    • Conduct legal due diligence for transactions, partnerships, and acquisitions.
    • Protect the company\'s intellectual property rights and manage trademark/copyright matters.
    • Support data privacy efforts, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
    • Uphold the highest level of confidentiality and ethical standards in all legal matters.

    Key Qualifications:

    • Bachelor\'s degree in Law; additional relevant certifications are advantageous.
    • Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
    • 2-4yrs of Proven experience as legal counsel or in a similar legal role.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
