    Public Health Engagement & Advocacy Officer

    The Engagement and Advocacy Officer will provide a critical interface between ehealth4everyone, government agencies/organizations and other project stakeholders. He/she will lead and support a broad range of internal/external stakeholder engagement and communication activities. He/she will also develop innovative communication and engagement initiatives requiring the involvement of a wide range of communication channels.

    Responsibilities:

    • Providing active management support for a range of advocacy and/or advocacy-related projects.
    • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and keeping contact records in our database updated regularly.
    • Supporting the delivery of high-quality events in collaboration with relevant stakeholders in the country.
    • Daily monitoring of our activities and keeping the team informed of relevant developments and engagement opportunities.
    • Conducting research and supporting the drafting of briefings on key engagement areas.
    • Providing administrative support relating to our advocacy, including the coordination of mailings, scheduling meetings locally and taking minutes, including pictures of the activities.

    Qualification and Skills:

    • A Master’s degree in Public Health.
    • A minimum three(3) years of experience working with stakeholders and clients and dealing with sensitive issues.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to impart and present information to stakeholders, formulate reports and gain cooperation.
    • A demonstrated ability to prepare and implement strategies in stakeholder relations and issue management are vital to the role.

    State Coordinator Post Abortion Care (PAC) Project

    Summary Role Definition:

    The State Coordinator manages and supervises all project activities within their assigned state. They act as the primary link between the national team and field enumerators/Research assistants, ensuring smooth implementation, stakeholder engagement, and data quality at the state level.

    Key Functions:

    • Leads data collection activities within the state.
    • Supervises enumerators, transcriptionists, and local logistics.
    • Maintains regular communication with facility heads and SMOH.
    • Conducts daily debriefs and submits state progress reports.
    • Ensures compliance with project protocols and ethics in the field.

    Qualification and Experience

    • A Bachelor\'s degree in Public Health, Nursing, Medicine, or related health or development field.
    • At least 3–5 years of experience in maternal health, reproductive health, or similar public health programs.
    • Familiarity with PAC concepts, protocols, and national guidelines is highly desirable.
    • Strong coordination, communication, and report writing skills.Strong understanding of the health system.
    • Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders including government officials, health workers, and NGOs.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Commitment to upholding professional and ethical standards, including confidentiality and respect for clients\' rights.
