    Business Development Manager - Public Sector

    Job Objectives

    • The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business strategies, identifying sales leads, pitching our products and services to new clients in the Public Sector, and closing new sales to increase the clientele and achieve profitable revenue growth for the company.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Research and identify new markets, business opportunities, and prospects/sales leads in the public sector.
    • Develop and execute plans to achieve financial targets (number of clients, revenue and expenses) set for each period.
    • Develop business development plans, go-to-market plans, and relevant marketing assets to acquire
    • Communicate products and services via various marketing materials and channels to identified prospects in the public sector.
    • Manage the end-to-end process of acquiring clients from initial engagements to closing deals.
    • Follow up on new business opportunities/leads through various platforms to establish a rapport and set up meetings.
    • Attend meetings and pitching sessions, make presentations, and report outcomes to management/supervisor.
    • Prepare and present our products and services to identified prospects via PowerPoint presentations, quotes, proposals, demos, and sales displays as required.
    • Prepare sales contracts, Service level agreements, and other documents in line with company policies and work with the client to ensure execution.
    • Conduct client surveys to develop marketing assets and use cases for engaging prospects.
    • Provide support and materials in upselling to existing clients
    • Conduct periodic research to constantly benchmark company’s service offerings with current trends and industry standards
    • Identify and attend industry conferences and other networking events to gain industry insights and network with relevant stakeholders.
    • Identify and establish key relationships in organisations/bodies where relevant stakeholders of sectors of focus belong.
    • Establish and build strong relationships with key contacts within target markets/stakeholder organisations (public sector).
    • Contact clients and prospects to inform them about new developments in the company’s products and services.
    • Negotiate pricing and other terms with clients and relevant partners.
    • Advise and proffer solutions on how to strategically solve problems and prioritise client needs.
    • Conduct relevant research and generate data-driven reports on market trends and other relevant information to educate the target market and enable business decisions.
    • Prepare and present weekly, monthly and other reports on activities for management review.

    Specification/Qualification

    • Minimum of 8 years in a Managerial role
    • Experience as a Public Sector Officer in a financial institution is required

    POS Support Officer

    Responsibilities

    The POS Support Officers would be deployed to the E-Business departments of our client and measured along with the following indices:

    • Receive requests for POS from Relationship Managers or Field support staff and processing time
    • Deployment of POS terminals to merchants
    • Training of merchant upon deployment of POS Terminal
    • Prepping (configuring and testing) of the POS terminals
    • Providing daily terminal support at designated merchant locations
    • Identifying prospect merchants in the field and reporting
    • Keep records of support and support materials (SIM cards, chargers, batteries e.t.c)
    • Give remote assistance/training to merchants’ upcountry
    • Attend to any other task assigned by the Team Lead POS or Supervisor
    • Enforce change management and compliance processes.

    Requirements

    • OND/HND in relevant course of study
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience.

    Head of Sales

    Key Responsibilities

    • The role of Head of Sales is to originate and manage relationships with high quality, long-term and profitable clients in a manner that is consistent with the objectives, values and policies of the business.
    • The core focus of this role is to lead the sales team to drive the generation of new sales and increase revenue, implementation of a variety of business development initiatives aimed at growing the business, profile and branding by positively influencing and developing its reputation.
    • Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure sales targets are met, monitor sales performance, track key metrics, and implement corrective actions to achieve sales goals, monitor market trends, analyze data, and assess market conditions to identify opportunities and threats and solutions, prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.

    Qualification / Requirements

    • Candidate must possess a good Degree in any of the Social Sciences from a recognized Higher Institution.
    • Not less than 5 years marketing experience in the real estate or banking /
