Requirements

Job Summary
- The Revenue Officer will be responsible for supporting and executing revenue collection, monitoring, verification, reconciliation, compliance, and customer engagement activities across designated areas of Abuja.
- The role is primarily field-based and requires regular movement across assigned locations, direct engagement with customers and businesses, monitoring of revenue activities, identification of revenue leakages, and accurate reporting of collections and field operations.
- The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate strong numerical and analytical abilities, integrity, accountability, professionalism, and a results-driven approach to achieving revenue and operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field-based revenue collection, monitoring, verification, and compliance activities across assigned locations.
- Carry out regular field visits to monitor revenue-generating activities and support effective revenue collection.
- Engage professionally with customers, businesses, taxpayers, and relevant stakeholders to facilitate compliance with payment obligations.
- Verify revenue transactions, payment records, receipts, and supporting documentation.
- Reconcile collections and transaction records and promptly identify discrepancies.
- Identify, document, and report revenue leakages, irregularities, underpayments, and other areas of non-compliance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of collections, field activities, customer information, and transactions.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and other required revenue and field activity reports.
- Monitor assigned revenue accounts, locations, or portfolios and follow up on outstanding obligations.

- Education: HND or B.Sc. in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Field Experience: Candidates must have hands-on field experience, preferably in revenue collection, field operations, customer engagement, sales, compliance, inspection, financial services, or a related function.
- Must have good knowledge of Abuja and be able to navigate its major districts, communities, and key locations effectively.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of revenue collection, financial transactions, accounting procedures, or compliance processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
