    Business Development Lead

    Responsibilities

    • Identify new business opportunities and develop long-term growth strategies.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, client needs, and competitive insights.
    • Lead proposals, pitches, and contract negotiations to close deals etc.

    Requirements

    • HND / B.Sc in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field or related field.
    • Minimum 3-5 years’ proven experience with a track record of meeting targets, preferably in consulting,training, or human development services.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
    • Ability to lead initiatives independently and work collaboratively.

    Business Development Manager

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement a resource mobilisation strategy aligned with the NGO’s mission and strategic plan.
    • Identify and pursue grant opportunities (local, international, multilateral, foundations, CSR funds.
    • Build and maintain partnerships with Government agencies, Private sector organisations, NGOS etc
    • Identify new programme areas aligned with organisational mandate.
    • Support communications efforts to enhance organisational visibility.
    • Ensure proposals meet donor compliance and eligibility criteria.
    • Explore non-grant income streams and develop sustainability strategies to reduce over-dependence on a single donor, etc.

    Requirements

    • HND / B.Sc Business Administration or related fields.
    • 3-5 years’ sales in business development, preferably in NGO/Foundation, human development and Tech sectors.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
    • Ability to lead initiatives independently work.
