Job opportunity – Business/ Compliance Advisor

Location – Victoria Island, Lagos

A foremost Nigerian downstream Oil & Gas company is urgently looking to hire a Business / Compliance Advisor who will be responsible for directing and enforcing measures that guide business operations in line with regulatory requirements while assisting the management team with overall business strategic coordination.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing, monitoring and executing strategic business plans alongside the senior management team
• Participating in business planning process and working closely with senior leaders to shape strategic priorities
• Implementing efficient internal control processes and regulatory compliance in line with government sanctioned guidelines
• Carrying out analysis, evaluation and preparation of decision-making recommendations as well as strategic and operational tasks within the company's outlined strategy
• Ensuring organizational business strategy is kept in line with emerging economic trends in the downstream oil and gas sector

Qualifications, Experiences and Attributes

• Bachelor's Degree from a reputable institution
• Minimum of 6 years’ work experience with at least 3 years at senior management level
• Strong background and sound knowledge in the Nigerian downstream oil and gas sector
• Leadership skills
• Understanding of Enterprise Risk Management
• Proactive ability to accurately identify problems and risks and propose solutions.
• Good network of contacts in the downstream Oil and Gas sector
