Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Setup and Operation: Set up and operate blow molding machines, adjusting settings like temperature, pressure, and cycle times to ensure proper production.
• Mold Installation and Maintenance: Install, change, and maintain molds, ensuring they are clean and function correctly. This includes troubleshooting mold issues during production.
• Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and ensure they meet specified quality standards. Adjust as needed to maintain product consistency.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with the blow molding machinery, such as equipment malfunctions, material feed problems, or mold defects.
• Material Handling: Manage the supply of raw materials (like plastic pellets) and ensure they are correctly processed in the machine.
• Record Keeping: Maintain records of production runs, including machine settings, maintenance activities, and quality checks.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure that all operations adhere to safety regulations, including the proper handling of equipment and hazardous materials.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: BSc/HND/ND or Trade Test
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of blow molding machines and processes, including the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Skill in diagnosing and fixing issues with machinery and molds.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to spot defects and make precise adjustments to equipment.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Understanding of mechanical systems and tools, which is crucial for maintenance and repair tasks.
• Physical Stamina: The job often requires standing for long periods and handling heavy equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Driving a van and selling products to customers.
• Delivering purchase orders and informing existing customers of new products.
• Increasing sales by promoting products and analyzing competitor behavior.
• Signing sales contracts, taking purchase orders, and collecting payments.
• Accounting for the safe and timeous delivery of purchased products.
• Maintaining sales and delivery records, as well as meeting sales targets.
• Liaising with other departments to ensure optimal customer services.
• Preventing damage to the delivery van and the company products being transported.
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the interior and the exterior of the van.
• Performing basic van maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure, and gas and oil levels.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or other related field
• 2-5 years of experience as a van salesman, or similar.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Exceptional ability in meeting sales targets.
• Extensive experience in identifying new customers and negotiating deals.
• Ability to assume responsibility for the delivery van and the products.
• Experience in recordkeeping and managing sales contracts.
• Working knowledge of basic van maintenance.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
