    Bilingual Executive Assistant/Data Analyst - (French and English) - Export

    Job Summary:

    As a Bilingual Executive Assistant/Data Analyst at Dangote Cement Plc., you will play a crucial role in providing support to the Group Executive Director's office.

    You will be responsible for interpreting and implementing policies and procedures, resolving administrative issues, conducting research and analysis, and assisting in the preparation of reports and recommendations.

    Your fluency in both French and English will be essential in effectively communicating with international stakeholders.

    Additionally, you will be involved in organizing projects, coordinating deadlines, and providing complex administrative support in areas such as procurement, budgeting, and staff communication.

    Your proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently will contribute to the smooth functioning of the office.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field
    • Fluency in both French and English (spoken and written)
    • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant and Data Analyst
    • In-depth understanding of the entire MS Office suite
    • Hands-on knowledge of data analysis tools
    • Ability to prioritize and organize workload effectively

    Litigation and Dispute Resolution Specialist

    As a Litigation and Dispute Resolution Specialist at DIL, you will play a vital role in managing and resolving legal disputes and litigation matters. You will work closely with the legal team to review court processes, provide legal opinions, and engage external solicitors to represent the company's interests in court and alternative dispute resolution.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain the company's litigation portfolio and liaise with the team lead, litigation
    • Review court processes and provide relevant legal opinions
    • Engage and collaborate with external solicitors to ensure effective representation in court and alternative dispute resolution
    • Negotiate solicitors' fees and oversee payments
    • Draft, review, and execute various agreements
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Company Secretary/General Counsel

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in law, specifically an LLB
    • An additional advantage is having a relevant post-graduate degree.
    • Membership in any of the following professional bodies is required: Nigerian Bar Association (NBA)
    • A minimum of 8 years’ experience in a legal function handling the aforementioned Job Responsibilities
    • At least 5 years’ experience providing litigation and dispute resolution services in a top-tier law firm or in a manufacturing industry.
    • An understanding and appreciation of corporate laws, securities laws, and capital market
    • An understanding and knowledge of industry regulations, policies, etc.

    Process and Environment Manager

    Job Summary: ·

    • Ensuring the company's operations align with environmental laws and regulations, while also focusing on efficiency and sustainability.
    • Performing regular inspections on plant equipment and promptly reporting any abnormalities.
    • Tackling operational disruptions in plant processes and swiftly restoring equipment to normal working conditions.
    • Analyzing equipment performance to enhance efficiency, prioritize environmental protection, and meet production goals while reducing costs.

    The role of a Process and Environmental Manager is to ensure that the Cement Plant operates responsibly, efficiently, and in an environmentally sustainable manner.

    Requirements

    Key Duties & Responsibilities

    Environmental Compliance:

    • Ensuring that all activities and processes comply with local, national, and international environmental regulations and standards. This includes obtaining necessary environmental permits and licenses and conducting regular compliance audits.

    Process Optimization:

    • Analyzing and optimizing production or operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize the environmental impact. This could involve implementing new technologies or methodologies.

    Sustainability Initiatives:

    • Developing and implementing strategies to promote sustainability within the organization. This could include reducing energy consumption, managing waste, and promoting recycling efforts.

    Risk Management:

    • Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks related to environmental issues and process inefficiencies. This involves preparing for and responding to environmental incidents or accidents.

    Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Communicating with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, regulatory bodies, and the Community Relations Office, about environmental policies, practices, and impacts. This might involve preparing reports, conducting presentations, and leading discussions.

    Training and Development:

    • Educating and training staff on environmental compliance, sustainable practices, and process optimization techniques to foster a culture of environmental responsibility and efficiency.

    Monitoring and Reporting:

    • Regularly monitoring environmental and process performance metrics, conducting audits, and reporting findings to senior management and regulatory authorities as required. This includes tracking progress towards sustainability goals.

    Continuous Improvement:

    • Continuously seeking opportunities for improvement in environmental performance and process efficiency. This involves staying updated with industry best practices, technological advancements, and changes in environmental regulations.

    Project Management:

    • Leading projects related to environmental management and process improvement, from planning and budgeting to implementation and evaluation.

    Other Assignments

    • Carry out any other assignment as may be given from time to time by the HOD Production.

    Academic / Professional Qualifications

    • HND/BSc. in Chemical Engineering

    Work Experience

    • Minimum of 10 years in cement industry
