    Bids and Proposal Associate

    Job Description

    • Work closely with the business development team in sourcing for leads
    • Analyze RFQs, RFPs, and RFIs to create proposal outlines and development plans
    • Prepare detailed proposal plans, schedules, outlines, and compliance matrices for all phases of proposal development.
    • Develop winning themes, value propositions, strengths, risk reducers, and differentiated solutions to the initial proposal outline
    • Work closely with engineering, procurement & program management to complete the formulation of “win strategies and themes” (taking into account strategic relationships, competitor intelligence, etc.) and ensure the message is articulated throughout the proposal
    • To study ITT documents and have a thorough understanding of the ITT requirements from the invitation documents.
    • Compilation of existing documents as requested from the ITT documents, creation of requested documents, packaging, and final submission of the proposal.
    • Compilation and classification of Input from company departments and subcontractors.
    • Carry out Facility Inspection, gather required data, and enter information into the FIDS
    • Facilitate multi-disciplined groups in brainstorming and developing solutions to key aspects of the proposal providing tactical advice and guidance with the ability to drive strategy and solutions that result in winning submissions.
    • Monitor proposal content to ensure compliance with RFP requirements, evaluation criteria, and technical requirements
    • Monitor for relevant competitive procurement opportunities, manage the bid opportunities pipeline and circulate opportunities to the appropriate stakeholders
    • Updating of the contact and tracking sheet and the Bid Board as the submission is closed.

    Specification

    • First Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or any related field
    • Minimum of 3 cognate years' experience in a very similar capacity
    • Proven ability to work across organizations with effective communication, leadership, and project management skills
    • Ability to work in a deadline-conscious, results-driven environment.

    Service Engineer

    Job Summary

    • Our client is seeking a qualified service engineer to join their team.
    • This candidate would provide technical support, service, and expertise to the Organization’s Process customers in Nigeria and ECOWAS countries in the building materials industry (with a focus on gypsum and cement production sites), chemical and performance materials (plastics) manufacturing plants, and other industries of the Organization’s Process interest.
    • He/she would serve as the center of competence, technical expertise, and the customer experience in the best interests of the Organization’s Process for customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Installations, commissioning, repairs, training, inspections, technical evaluations and other required for sales, service, and maintenance of the Organization’s Process equipment and materials services at customer´s sites and remotely.
    • Technical support of customer sales presentations and visits, site inspections and evaluations, and inquiries evaluation.
    • Execution and support of the acceptance tests.
    • Effective and compliant planning, management, timely approval requests submission and communication both internally and externally of all required traveling arrangements and plans.
    • Proactive communication and coordination internally and with customers of all required services.
    • Identification of new, repeat, upselling and cross-selling opportunities and part of sales team mindset.
    • Technical promotion of aftermarket products and services
    • Effective customer relationship management, communication of the collected customer's feedbacks, especially complaints or improvement requirements
    • Timely and full utilization of the Organization’s Process IT tools and utilities (MS Office, SharePoint, WorkDay, CRM, SAP, augmented reality tools, documents database, etc.).
    • Uncompromising implementation of the European and the Organization’s Process technical, EHS, and quality standards during all provided services (installation, commissioning, service, training, other services).

    Requirements

    • Degree in Engineering or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics with additional fluency with Electronics and Electrics.
    • Software engineering experience would be an advantage.
    • Fluent English. French would be an advantage.
    • Extensive hands-on experience with cement industry equipment. Experience with the Organization’s Process equipment and / or hands-on experience in other industries would be an advantage.
    • Clear and practical knowledge of the entire Cement industry production process, maintenance and utilized equipment.
    • Chemical, including plastics and other industries knowledge, might be an advantage.
    • Driving license and excellent driving safety skills.
    • Willingness and fit to travel intensively within country and region and bi-annually abroad.
    • Existing network of contacts (engineers, service, and maintenance management) in industry might be an advantage, subject of relevance

    Cleaner

    Job Responsibilities

    • Cleaning spills, broken glass and other messes up as quickly as possible
    • Performing maintenance activities related to cleaning (e.g. maintaining cleaning machinery)
    • Refilling supplies, such as toilet paper and paper towels
    • Ordering new cleaning supplies as needed
    • Stocking and supplying designated facility areas
    • Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc
    • Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities
    • Carry out heavy cleaning tasks and special projects

    Requirements

    • A minimum of an SSCE qualification
    • 2 - 4 years work experience.
    • High School Degree
    • Proven working experience as a Cleaner
    • Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
    • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
    • Ability to communicate in English
    • Integrity.
