    Bank Teller

    Report To: Accounts Manager

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments, accurately.
    • Handle cash and financial instruments and balance cash drawers daily.
    • Deliver excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries professionally.
    • Communicate effectively with customers, including Hausa-speaking clients.
    • Promote bank products and services where appropriate.
    • Ensure compliance with banking policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
    • Maintain confidentiality of customer and bank information.

    Requirement

    • Minimum of HND/BSc in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
    • 2–3 years of experience as a Bank Teller or in a similar banking role.
    • Fluency in Hausa is required; proficiency in English is essential.

    Required Competencies:

    • Strong cash-handling and numerical accuracy.
    • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
    • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
    • Integrity, honesty, and professionalism.
    • Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Basic knowledge of banking software and MS Office applications.
    • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
