    Machinery Engineer / Specialist II

    MAIN FUNCTIONS

    Evaluate and comment on discipline engineering work performed both internally and by Contractors and sub-contractors to ensure that work is being executed in accordance with Company specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements. Facilitates effective execution of discipline engineering and design routines that align with the team's goals, objectives, and procedures. Assures accurate and timely communication among the team and other company Functions on discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues. In addition to technical ability, they should demonstrate sound communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

    TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    In addition to all Level 1 tasks, Level 2 will:

    • Work in a team environment with other engineering disciplines, operations, and mechanical personnel
    • Proactively seek reliability improvements directed at increasing plant equipment uptime while reducing maintenance costs
    • Specify new rotating equipment to comply with industry and company design practices
    • Ensure safe, cost-effective, operable machinery and associated systems are provided and maintained to meet current business unit needs

    JOB REQUIREMENT

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experience
    • Strong knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
    •  Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
    •  Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications

    Cost / Schedule / Controls Engineer / Specialist III

    DESCRIPTION

    The Cost/Schedule/Controls Engineer will perform or coordinate efforts for cost estimate preparation, estimating oversight, and quality assurance reviews for company-operated and other builder-operator estimates for all gate and funding milestones. The Cost/Schedule/Controls Engineer will also prepare check estimates and schedules to compare with Operated by Others (OBO) Operator-prepared submittals. Also, this person will participate in estimate and schedule assessments (verification of project cost & schedule bases). Lastly, they are expected to participate in Estimating Group process efficiency tools and Quality Assurance Review Process Improvements.

    TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    In addition to Level 1 and 2 tasks, a Level 3 would:

    • Responsible for maintaining change control, cost reports, etc.
    • Work with project estimator, planner and scheduler, and Client’s accounting staff
    • Coordinate and assemble the monthly progress reports
    • Work closely with client’s project manager and team leads for regulated and non-regulated accounting reporting requirements

    JOB REQUIREMENT

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering within the discipline or equivalent professional experience
    •  Previous experience in a closely related position

    Instrumentation and Controls Coordinator III

    ​​​​​​MAIN FUNCTIONS

    Instrument Controls Coordinator should have a good understanding of safety, health, and environmental requirements (SSHE), provides subject matter expertise to maintenance teams. Subject matter expert for specific processes and procedures, technical matters, and equipment. Equipment types may include instrumentation, control systems, and analyzers, ("I&C"). Demonstrates very strong maintenance skills for these equipment types. Able to provide support or guidance for complex troubleshooting, may participate in constructability and maintenance design reviews, and may assist engineering for routine maintenance as well as turnaround or new project support. Ability to influence without authority and interacts effectively with operation and maintenance organizations. Significant experience in electrical, instrumentation and controls installation activities with specific focus on confirming adherence to applicable codes, standards and design documents with regard to the oil and gas business segments

    TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    In addition to Level 1 and 2 tasks and responsibilities, a Level 3:

    • Assisting the contractors with clarification, interpretation, interference resolution, and QA/QC-related matters.
    • Confirming equipment and materials arriving at site meet the engineering specifications and quantities
    • Ensuring instructions, drawings, and specifications for scope changes are issued in a timely manner.
    • Ensuring that Health, Safety, and Environment Programs are implemented and adhered to at all times
    • Updating the site-wide deficiency lists to be issued at weekly construction meetings
    • Participating in the turnover process by assembling completion checklists and other engineering and construction records

    JOB REQUIREMENT

    • Previous experience in a closely related position
    • Behavioral Skills: adaptability, analytical capability, collaboration, effective communication
    • Functional Skills: Safety, Security, Health, and Environment (SSHE) Management: - operations and maintenance, maintenance planning, maintenance scheduling, maintenance management, maintenance-I&C/A
    • Discipline appropriate technical degree or equivalent professional experience
    •  Experience in interpreting electrical, instrumentation and controls installation plans, single line diagrams, block diagrams, loop diagrams, engineered construction drawings, technical specifications, and engineering details and designs
    • Understanding of industry codes, standards, and construction methods for mining and mineral processing operations.
    • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a team environment
    • Effective communication skills; ability to clearly and concisely describe conditions in the field and recommend remediation steps
    • Team Player: exhibits effective teamwork when working with persons over whom the person may have no direct authority and willingness to assist others
    • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs

    Field Operator II

    MAIN FUNCTIONS

    Operate equipment and wells by applying operating and safety procedures and guidelines to meet daily operational plans, reduce equipment failure, and efficient resources administration

    TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Responsible to implement on daily work objectives, housekeeping, safety, health, environmental and security
    • Active participation on daily toolbox meetings and regular, reported safety meetings
    • Identify and implement corrective and optimization actions by the continuous surveillance of wells and equipment to ensure reliable, efficient, and safe operational conditions
    • Function as Equipment Care Technician, and routinely use Maintenance skills in performing simple maintenance activities
    • Report when the alarm, emergency or emergency shutdown system is out of service
    • Provide detailed, clear, and accurate information when changing shifts, to guarantee that unit conditions are updated and ensure operations continuity
    • Coordinate, control, and monitor maintenance jobs according with the corrective, predictive, and preventive planning
    • Report continuously in the log book all relevant operational events and abnormal situations or deviations occurred in the work area, equipment or personnel
    • Take samples of products for laboratory analysis and execute field laboratory tests
    • Active participation on emergency response activities
    • Report incidents internally and escalate awareness as per the Incident Reporting Guidelines
    • Ensure that the Operations Shift Supervisor is informed and consulted about operations activities
    •  Ensure good communication across the work team so that issues and actions can be adequately addressed
    • Provide the basic facts concerning well-producing problems, current production rates, and the current condition of the well
    • Ensure that the well problem diagnostics are thorough and complete before requesting Well Work intervention operations
    • Ensure that the wellhead and well surface equipment are maintained and are in good working order prior to Wellwork operations taking over responsibility for the well for intervention operations
    • Provide assistance and support to the ongoing Wellwork operations as needed

    JOB REQUIREMENT

    • Completed secondary education and worked previously as a Field Technician.
    •  Strong communications (oral & written)
    • High standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and cultivates the same in others.
    •  Strong knowledge of pipeline operations
    • Strong knowledge of safety and operations management tools and processes
    • Broad knowledge of Emergency Preparedness Procedures
    • Strong knowledge of Project Philosophy and Design Specifications
    • Knowledgeable of relevant regulations
    • Knowledgeable of relevant commercial agreements
