    Architect

    Position Overview

    • We are seeking a highly creative, technically proficient, and experienced Architect with a minimum of 5years of proven expertise in the real estate development and construction industry.
    • The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio of built projects, demonstrate exceptional design and project management skills, and have experience leading a team of architects.
    • This role reports directly to the Projects Coordinator and the Managing Director, playing a pivotal part in shaping the aesthetic and functional quality of our developments.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the conceptualization, development, and execution of innovative architectural designs for residential and commercial real estate projects that align with the company's vision and market demands.
    • Oversee all architectural phases of projects from feasibility studies and schematic design through design development, construction documentation, and project completion.
    • Manage, mentor, and coordinate a team of architects and architectural technicians, ensuring high-quality output and professional growth.
    • Ensure all architectural designs and documentation comply with relevant building codes, zoning regulations, and planning authority requirements in Lagos and Abuja.
    • Work closely with the Projects Coordinator, Managing Director, and multidisciplinary teams (structural engineers, MEP engineers, quantity surveyors) to integrate design intent with technical and budgetary constraints.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling design presentations, 3D visualizations, and concept proposals to clients, investors, and regulatory bodies.
    • Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design integrity is maintained throughout construction.
    • Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, ensure adherence to design specifications, and resolve any architectural issues on-site.
    • Research and specify appropriate materials, finishes, and systems that balance aesthetic appeal, durability, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
    • Assist in the preparation of tender documents, evaluate contractor submissions, and provide technical input during contract negotiations.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
    • A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification, verifiable experience in architectural design and project delivery within the real estate development and construction industry.
    • Relevant professional certification and registration with the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) and the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) is mandatory.
    • Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a team of architects and architectural technicians.
    • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in residential and commercial projects, particularly mixed-use and high-rise developments.
    • Proficiency in architectural design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools.
    • Candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to Abuja or Lagos, with the flexibility to travel between project sites as required.

    Legal Officer

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Officer to provide comprehensive legal counsel and support across our diverse portfolio of operations.
    • The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years of dedicated experience within the real estate and construction industry, fintech, hospitality, corporate governance and REIT investments.
    • In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring legal compliance, managing a wide array of complex contracts, resolving disputes, and protecting the organization's interests.
    • This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in challenging, high-value projects and collaborate with a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide expert legal advice and strategic guidance to senior management and various departments, including Sales, Marketing, Business Development, HR/Admin, Finance/Accounts and Project Teams.
    • Draft, review, and negotiate a broad spectrum of legal documents, including real estate transaction agreements, construction contracts, land acquisition deeds, and corporate governance policies.
    • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to ensure full compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards affecting real estate, construction, hospitality, fintech, and investments.
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate legal risks, developing proactive strategies to prevent and resolve potential issues.
    • Manage and oversee all litigation and dispute resolution processes, collaborating effectively with external legal counsel and representing the company in negotiations and settlements.
    • Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s legal policies, procedures, and best practices.
    • Stay abreast of legislative/statutory changes and evolving industry practices to ensure the organization's ongoing compliance and strategic advantage.

    Requirements

    • A Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from an accredited institution. A Master’s degree or professional certifications will be a significant advantage.
    • A minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Legal Officer or in a similar role, with a demonstrable track record within the real estate and construction sector.
    • Must possess Extensive knowledge of Nigerian real estate law, construction regulations, land acquisition procedures, and relevant commercial legislation.
    • Exceptional skills in legal drafting, analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and negotiation.
    • Proven ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment.
    • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in legal research and the use of various legal databases and software applications.

    Site Engineer - Structure

    Job Summary

    • As a Site Engineer-structure, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful implementation of construction projects, working closely with the Project Coordinator as your direct line manager.

    Responsibilities

    • Explicitly implement project designs and construction works schedule as instructed by the Project Supervisor for project management and coordination.
    • Ensure adherence to the approved designs and project schedule throughout the construction process.
    • Take charge of coordinating the activities of masons, laborers, and all ad hoc staff assigned to your projects.
    • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with project team members to ensure project objectives are met.
    • Work closely with the Project Supervisor, Executive Assistant, and external structural/quality control team (consultants) to ensure conformity with the company's standards and offerings to our subscribers.
    • Contribute to the implementation of DreamCity Property and Investment Ltd's construction policy.
    • Ensure that construction works align with project designs and specifications, without errors or inconsistencies.
    • Implement the company's project checklist to maintain quality assurance throughout the construction process.
    • Optimize the utilization of financial resources and materials allocated for site use.
    • Take responsibility for minimizing wastage on-site and be held accountable for resource management.

    Requirements

    • Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor's Degree in any relevant field
    • Must possess Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Site Structural Engineer in the real estate and property construction industry.
    • Must possess Relevant educational qualifications in Engineering such as structural engineering or a related field.
    • Must possess Professional certification, including COREN, NSE, or equivalent, is required.
    • Strong knowledge and understanding of construction practices, project management, and quality control.
    • Proficiency in reading and interpreting project designs and specifications.
    • Excellent organizational and coordination skills to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to collaborate effectively with project stakeholders.
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
