    Analytical Chemist / Production Technical Officer

    Job Summary

    • We are looking for an experience Analytical Chemist.
    • The ideal candidate must be verse and Knowledgeable in Chemical production and also familiar in the Pharmaceutical sector,herbicide,insecticide and related field who will analyze organic and inorganic compounds to determine chemical or physical properties, composition, structure, relationships or reactions using various techniques.

    Responsibilities

    • Preparing, mixing, and measuring chemicals used by producers.
    • Use chemical processes such as chemical reactions and refining methods to produce Herbicide .
    • Conduct tests on materials to determine their properties, such as flammability, reactivity with other materials, or resistance to corrosion and to ensure that safety and quality standards are met.
    • Operate and maintain analytical instruments and equipment used in chemical testing, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of results.
    • Purchase laboratory supplies such as chemicals, when supplies are low or near their expiration
    • Prepare and maintain detailed records of test results, standard operating procedures, and laboratory documentation to meet regulatory requirements.
    • Stay updated on relevant regulations and standards in the industry, ensuring that the company’s products comply with
    • Analyze test results, interpret findings, and promptly report any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards.
    •  Perform any other job-related duties as may be assigned by the Manager.

    Educational Qualifications

    • The candidate should have a relevant Degree or Postgraduate qualification in Chemistry, Industrial or Analytical Chemistry or a similar field with five 5 - 10 years relevant experience working in a production industry of chemicals , herbicide or insecticide or a related industry.
    • Relevant certification(s) is an added advantage.

    Hatchery Technician / Maintenance Officer

    Job Description

    • The Job role entails that the Successful Candidate will be knowledgeable and experienced in the operation and Maintenance of various electrical equipment and machines in the Hatchery such as VET 7, EMKA, and Components of the Chilling Machine.
    • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to maximize equipment uptime and minimize downtime.
    • They also identify potential issues and perform corrective actions to maintain a safe work environment.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Daily maintenance of Machines and diagnostic process of incubators.
    • Maintenance of the hatchery cooling and chilling System.
    • Supervising and Managing of Industrial generator e.g 500 kva
    • Install and maintain electrical components such as switches, circuits, and motors
    • Coordinate with production teams to minimize equipment downtime
    • Follow established safety procedures and regulations at all times
    • Assist in forecasting requirements, creating a budget and scheduling expenses for the electrical department
    • Keep record of all stock and supplies, including company’s electrical equipment
    • Working in collaboration with the production team to formulate the best cost-effective manufacturing process
    • Perform energy audit and recommend alternative sources of energy
    • Help the organization to reduce energy costs
    • Ensure that all electrical gadgets and instruments are switched off after close of work daily

    Requirements

    • B.Sc / HND / OND qualification in Electrical Electronics engineering with
    • Electrical Certifications required
    • 3 - 7 years work experience as a Shift Electrician in an Hatchery or FMCG company is a MUST
    • Knowledge of heavy industry electrics.
    • Have mechanical skills
    • Prior experience in Electrical / Mechanical breakdowns.
    • Competent in Microsoft Office packages and Outlook.
    • Good spoken and written English.
    • Ability to multitask and deal with situations
    • Attention to details
    • Ability to work in a team setting.
    • Must be ready to resume at a short notice.

    Logistic Supervisor

    Job Responsibilities

    • Plan warehouses and distribution centers for efficiency in both operations and capacity.
    • Organize transportation activities, including storage of goods, managing information accrued from point of origin to delivery, orchestrating transportation movements, and arranging for services as necessary.
    • Coordinate and track the movement of goods through logistic pathways.
    • Execute logistics plan to move products and packages to reach destinations on schedule.
    • Review freight rates and other transportation costs to keep working costs low.
    • Maintain quality throughout the logistics processes.
    • Develop logistics along with support plans, budget requirements, and deployment timelines for new operations.
    • Develop logistical plans for current operations and logistics contingency plans.
    • Prepare plans for liquidation and downsizing.
    • Develop and execute tools and methodologies to enable effective implementation of logistic plans.
    • Design and develop standard operating methods to manage logistics operations efficiently
    • Ensure to work seamlessly and assiduously with all other departments of the company.
    • Identify added logistic training requirements to attain high working standards.
    • Be coordinative with a sound moral attitude in order not to put the company’s name in disrepute.
    • Ensure the confidentiality of all the company’s information at your disposal.
    • Coordinate logistics activities related to procurement.
    • Ensuring timely and safe delivery of Company goods to various destinations.

    Requirements

    • HND / B.Sc Degree in Business Administration, Social Science or a related field
    • Substantial knowledge of standard logistics procedures and practices is required
    • Good level of technical skills in mechanics / Communications
    • Good communication and representative skills
    • Ability to multitask and deal with situations
    • Ability to adapt within the working environment.
    • Ability to work in a team setting.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license.
    • Must be ready to resume at a short notice.
