    Accounts & Finance Associate

    Job Overview

    • We are seeking a skilled, dynamic and results driven Accounts & Finance Officer to join our team.
    • The role will be responsible for managing the company's financial operations, overseeing all incoming and outgoing transactions, processing accounts payable and receivable, generating financial reports, and providing financial analysis to support decision-making within the organization.
    • The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, a strong work ethic, and a passion for driving business growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Recording and reconciling financial transactions across accounts payable and receivable
    • Preparing and reviewing financial statements like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
    • Managing budgets, tracking expenses, and forecasting financial trends
    • Handling client billing and collections, including sending invoices and following up on overdue payments
    • Maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud
    • Analyzing financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
    • Collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
    • Responding to account inquiries from internal and external stakeholders

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounts & Finance, or related field.
    • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and data analysis tools.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Second Class Upper in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance with key functions such as Accounting, Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting, Cost Management and Internal Controls, preferably in the oilfield services, or related industry.

    Procurement Associate

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking an experienced Procurement Associate to manage the procurement of small, medium/large-sized projects for Barama and its affiliates. 
    • The successful candidate will ensure projects are carried out safely and on time, ensure client satisfaction within the budget, and drive business growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Implement strategic plans for procurement operations – deliver value to the organization by focusing and aligning with company objectives such as, right sourcing, right OEM/place and right quality by adhering strictly to the end user description and specification, deliver on time and pay on time, comply with company procedure and policies by adopting the use of landing cost analysis table and freight calculator.
    • Proactively ensure communication between company, IOCs, stakeholders and partners by building relationships with the aim of reducing turnaround time on request – make networking a priority.
    • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Foster strong client relationships, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions.
    • Collaborate with your team in securing contracts, company registration, networking, building relationships and business development outreach – garner at least ten (10) purchase orders (PO/WO) on a monthly basis - develop a dashboard or matrix to track and monitor your performance or progress weekly.
    •  Maintain good relationships with our clients and setup a weekly outreach program to foster opportunities - keep record of your meetings with dates and time.
    • Analyse performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain management or related field (preferably with a second class upper).
    • 2-3 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.
    • Proven track record in supply chain management, meeting deadlines, and exceeding client expectations.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Second Class Upper in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
