    Accounting Clerk

    Job Summary

    • The accounting clerk will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting tasks, and ensuring compliance with internal controls across our restaurant locations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Record and process daily sales reports from multiple restaurant locations.
    • Reconcile cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions against bank deposits and point-of-sale (POS) system records.
    • Manage and maintain accounts payable and receivable ledgers, including data entry and invoice processing.
    • Assist with payroll-related data entry and reconciliation (e.g., timesheet accuracy and deductions).
    • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
    • Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end close processes.
    • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial files and records for audits and internal reviews.
    • Assist with inventory reconciliation and cost analysis from restaurant supply purchases.
    • Communicate with store managers to resolve transactional discrepancies.
    • Support the accounting team with other administrative and financial tasks as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • 1–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in the food service or retail sector.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.
    • Strong communication skills for interaction with store and finance personnel.

    Head Accountant

    Job Summary

    • The accounting Manager coordinates the bookkeeping and accounting functions of the company. 
    • He oversees the maintenance of all financial records of the company. 
    • He oversees the development and achievement of the company’s budgets and financial plans.

    Key Roles and Responsibilities

    • Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets for the business.
    • Perform general accounting activities, including preparation, maintenance, and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, capital expenditure schedules, and the production of management reports for the company.
    • Manage cash and banking activities of the company.
    • Manage tax reporting and inventory processing.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports.
    • Provide management controls for procurement and expenditure.
    • Establish and implement processes for reconciliation of bank statements and financial records.
    • Support preparation of year-end and statutory accounts.
    • Prepare audit files and statutory accounts in accordance with regulatory requirements

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
    • Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, ICAN, ICMA, ACA, etc.
    • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in an accounting position in the food or hospitality industry.
    • High proficiency in the use of Ms. Excel.
    • Strong analytical and managerial skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
