Job Description

• Set up efficient and compliant workflows to guarantee high quality for the transactions and processes within accounting.
• Reporting for internal and external audiences.
• Perform analysis and review ledgers of financial statements. 
• Preparation of monthly/quarterly and year end closing reports.
• Updating and maintaining accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing  financial business transactions. 
• Responsible for the production of statutory and regulatory reports.
• Responsible for the review of accounts reconciliations.
• Ensure inventory and accounting review work of accounts related to technical accounting.
• Evaluate and allocate premium provisions, claims payable provisions and other technical provisions in accordance with local regulations. 
• Close collaboration with the regional team.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any related field. 
• Certification in ICAN or ACCA is an added advantage. 
• Work experience in an insurance company is an added advantage. 
• Experience in GL accounting, GAAP and SAP F1 accounting systems.  
• Good knowledge of local accounting rules including Taxes.
• Strong analytical, communication and influence skills.

Job Description

• Identify and resolve all level one support issues on legacy application.
• Ensure a standard procedure to enhance scalability and performance of database architecture.
• Troubleshoot complex database issues.
• Providing Data analysis.
• Maintain database disaster recovery procedures to ensure continuous availability and speedy recovery.
• Supervise any installation, migration and upgrade of databases.
• Identify and resolve database issues related to performance and capacity.
• Oversee day-to-day activities of database.
• Support in Database maintenance.
• Manage relationship between IT and the End-users.
• Provide support including procedural documentation and relevant reports.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of Bachelor/HND degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any related field. 
• Minimum of 1-2 years of cognate experience.
• Knowledge of database technologies.
• Analytical skills
• Good communication skills. 
• Excellent multitasking skill. 
• Knowledge of contemporary hardware and software architecture.
