Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Compliance:

• Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledgers, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
• Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and comprehensive financial reporting in compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS).
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support in tax planning and compliance with all relevant tax legislations and procedures, including resolution of all tax issues resulting from tax audits.
• Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Oversee business insurance plans and maintenance of inventory of all fixed assets.
• Budgeting & Forecasting.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

• Perform in-depth analysis of financial data to support strategic decisions.
• Prepare financial models to evaluate business scenarios, growth opportunities, and risks.
• Payroll Management & Statutory Payments
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve high performance.
• Develop Vendor's Payment Process to manage cash flows
• Stakeholder Management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• BSc / HND in Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, CPA, ACCA).
• Minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in a finance-related role
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS, tax laws, and Nigerian regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office (especially Microsoft Excel)
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance metrics.
• Ability to implement and maintain robust internal controls and risk management frameworks.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to translate financial insights into business strategy.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
• Innovative mindset
• Good communication skills – both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationship with clients.
• Generate sales to meet revenue target.
• Identify opportunities to grow new businesses with existing clients.
• Identify new business opportunities for various company products and services to achieve sales target.
• Canvass territories to present company products to potential customers.
• Attend trade shows and other industry-related events for business opportunities.
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports.
• Create business leads and set up appointments to present company products.
• Complete order forms and submit same for processing.
• Manage multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines and fulfilling service promise.
• Communicate new product and service opportunities, or feedback received to the appropriate in-house staff.
• Follow through on new business leads and referrals.
• Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys.

What We Expect

• Minimum of 5 years experience as a direct sales agent, preferably in the banking industry.
• B.Sc / HND qualification in Marketing, Business Administration or any related field.
• Good presentation, reporting and communication skills.
• Demonstrable ability to communicate and present.
• Good relationship management ability.
• Negotiation and convincing skills.
• Must have ability to handle multiple responsibilities -- to work across many accounts, projects, and/or issues and prioritize effectively.
• Must possess a Valid driver’s license
