    Accountant

    Summary

    • The Accountant will manage all accounting and finance operations for the Abuja office and provide financial support across the company’s group of businesses, ensuring accurate records, proper controls, and timely reporting, while collaborating with HQ and other business units.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Handle day-to-day accounting activities, postings, reconciliations, payments, and petty cash.
    • Maintain accurate accounting records in line with company policies.
    • Monitor sales, revenue, and collections, ensuring proper controls are in place.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for submission to HQ.
    • Support cost control, expense tracking, and budget monitoring.
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls, approval limits, and documentation standards.
    • Support audits and provide required financial information.
    • Provide finance support to branch operations and flag risks or discrepancies promptly.

    Requirements

    • BSc / HND in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
    • 2 - 3 years relevant accounting experience.
    • ICAN ATS / ACA in progress is an advantage.
    • Basic to intermediate Excel skills and accounting software knowledge.
    • High attention to detail and ability to work independently.

    Account / Finance Manager

    Role

    • Overall finance lead for the Group, responsible for financial reporting, controls, compliance, and oversight of all entities.
    • The entities cover Oil & Gas, Telecommunications, Aviation & Technology.

    Key Duties

    • Manage group-wide accounting and financial reporting.
    • Prepare consolidated monthly and annual accounts.
    • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management.
    • Ensure tax, statutory, and regulatory compliance.
    • Oversee internal controls and external audits.
    • Supervise finance staff, including Abuja office.

    Requirements

    • BSc Degree in Accounting / Finance.
    • ACA preferred (ACCA acceptable).
    • 7–10 years post-graduation experience.
    • Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax and compliance.
    • Experience managing multi-entity accounts.
