Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.

2. Manage daily accounting operations, including receivables, payables, and bank reconciliations.

3. Monitor cash flow and assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.

4. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

5. Process invoices, payments, and expense reports promptly and accurately.

6. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory deductions, and financial policies.

7. Conduct inventory accounting and stock reconciliation.

8. Support external audits and provide required financial documentation.

9. Analyze financial data and provide insights to support management decisions.

10. Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.

11. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure financial accuracy and operational efficiency.

12. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

* Minimum of 3-5 years accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing or FMCG sector.

* Professional certification such as ICAN or ACCA is an added advantage.

* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

* Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

* High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
