    Zonal Manager

    Job Summary

    • The Zonal Manager will be responsible for overseeing sales operations, managing Area Managers and medical representatives, and driving growth within the assigned region. 
    • The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in managing OTC and ethical product sales across hospitals and institutions, with strong leadership, strategic planning, and territory knowledge across the South West region of Nigeria.

    Responsibilities

    • Drive the implementation of sales strategies to achieve zonal targets and company objectives.
    • Supervise Area Managers and a team of Sales/Medical Representatives across multiple states.
    • Monitor and support team performance through coaching, field visits, and reviews.
    • Develop strong business relationships with key healthcare providers, institutions, and distributors.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
    • Generate timely sales reports and provide insights to the senior management team.
    • Coordinate zonal marketing and promotional activities to boost product visibility.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 6 years of managerial experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a strong background in OTC/Ethical products.
    • Proven success in supervising sales teams and achieving revenue growth.
    • In-depth knowledge of hospitals, institutions, and distribution networks within Oyo, Kwara, Ogun, Osun, Ekiti, and Ondo States.
    • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and travel as required within the zone.
