Yoruba Language Learning Content Associate at Careers Verified

Core Responsibilities

• Curriculum design - work with the Language team to design and make ongoing improvements to our language courses
• Drafting and recording content for language app and conversation practice
• Play an instrumental role in screening, onboarding, and training language tutors with innovative teaching techniques.
• Work alongside marketing and design teams to create social media videos and provide short translations for the marketing team.

Experience

• At least 4 years teaching the Yoruba language (Required)
• Prior work on children’s content (Required)
• Content creation / performing arts (Preferred)
• Prior work in the Education Industry or in a Start-Up (Preferred).

Other Requirements:

• Language / Linguistics degree (preferred).
• Native fluency in Yoruba
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• A passion for educating children and Nigerian cultures
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• An undergraduate degree
• Ability to take the initiative and work independently
• Excellent time management skills
• Proficiency In Microsoft Office and Google suites
• Strong prioritisation and organisation skills and a sharp ability to manage multiple work streams
• Applicants must have a functioning laptop and access to high-speed internet
• Strong grasp of grammar concepts.
