Role & Responsibilities

• Responsible for wind resource measurement and analysis
• Execute the WTG Layout design and site suitability
• Conduct the Wind energy production assessments
• Will be responsible for building the team through training and moving
• Wind Energy Engineers engineering technical support to designers of underground or overhead wind farm collector systems and prepare and develop site specifications.
• Create or maintain wind farm layouts, schematics, or other visual documentation for wind farms.
• Support the optimization of the layout of wind farm access roads, crane pads, crane paths, collection systems, substations, switchyards, or transmission lines.

Minimum Requirements

• Qualified BSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 5 – 10 years of experience
• Wind resource measurement and analysis
• WTG Layout design and site suitability
• Wind energy production assessments
• Ideally WindPro / WAsP
• Supporting projects in South Africa, and into greater Africa
• Project Development
• Due Diligence
• Strong analytical and statistical skills
• Technical report writing
• Comfortable interacting with clients and wider project teams
• Energy and performance analysis for solar would be beneficial.
