Well Intervention Supervisor at Applied Engineering Technology Initiative

Job Description

• Supervise Contractors involved in all rig and ringless good services activities including electric Wireless operations, acidizing and N2 lifting, slackline operations, production test, well securing and abandonment, wellhead investigations, repairs, and coiled tubing operations including cementing.
• Responsible for successfully implementing the good intervention, killing, securing, and other rigless activities adhering to company safety and environment policy.

Job Responsibilities

• Make inputs to the Rigless Well Intervention Programs, work plans, and risk assessments, and schedule and supervise the execution of all rig and ringless well interventions and on-site rig production.
• Ensures that each and every rigless well intervention is done in accordance with company policy and procedures, risk assessing each rigless well intervention, mentoring and building the rigless team to deliver the well work's objectives.
• Prepare programs for various well tests such as multi-zone production tests, stimulations, N2 lifting, acidizing, perforations, coil tubing cementing, killing, and securing operations considering cost-effective for these operations.
• Responsible for the Service Companies HSE and service quality performance.
• Follow up on contractor service performance and adherence to safe work practices and company policies.
• Identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Participate in the training and development of assigned personnel.

Qualification and Experience

• A professional Engineer in possession of a Degree (Bachelor's / HND) or equivalent qualification in a relevant Engineering or Science Discipline.
• Possession of a valid IWCF / WIPC (combined supervisory levels 2,3, & 4) certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 years well operations, and 4 years of experience in Well intervention Engineer and /or supervisor role.
