The Welding inspector is responsible for inspecting and assessing the quality and strength of welding work.
Their job is to ensure welds are safe and ready to function as part of the device or structure. Welding inspectors also inspect the equipment used and ensure welders adhere to company and state safety regulations.
Requirements
B.Ed / Diploma in Mechanical must have Valid Welding Inspector certification in CSWIP 3.1, AWS-CWI or equivalent certification.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a welding inspection in Plant/Turnaround In refinery/petrochemical.
Multi-discipline ASNT/PCN NDT level II with valid certificate.
Experience working in Middle East will be an added advantage
Must pass the required CBT Test as may be required.
