Welder at Mikano

Responsible for Welds and assembling metal pieces and products by using handheld welding equipment.
Sets up parts for welding; uses hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures. Works from specifications, drawings, and weld symbols.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all measurements and drawings are being followed.
• Sourcing the materials to be used in the project.
• Measuring and cutting materials to specifications.
• Welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together
• To ensure that the management time is not wasted.
• To ensure that his section is arranged before the closing hour.
• Checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints.
• To fabricate a good job at a given time.
• Ensuring that all measurements and drawings are being followed.
• To reduce errors in terms of construction.
• Meeting all daily targets.
• Ability to weld pipe.

Requirements

• Minimum of Trade Test Certificate.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
• At least 3 years work experience in a similar industry.

Salary & Benefits

N128,000 monthly.
