Welder/ Metal Fabricator at Agbeyewa Farms

We are seeking a skilled Welder/ Metal Fabricator to join our team in Ado Ekiti, Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components using various welding techniques and equipment.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding machines
• Cut, shape, and form metal parts using precision measurement tools and techniques
• Fabricate metal components according to specifications and quality standards
• Inspect completed welds and fabrications to ensure they meet project requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools
• Suggest improvements to welding and fabrication processes to enhance efficiency and quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Welding certification (e.g., AWS) preferred
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication
• Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience using precision measurement tools and equipment
• Familiarity with metallurgy and material properties
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects efficiently
• Strong focus on workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions
• Willingness to work in Ado Ekiti, Nigeria
