Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious Welder to join our Lagos project team for the NiishEnergy Project.
• The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Stick Welding (SMAW) or Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), be proficient in CAD drawing interpretation, and possess the technical skills to deliver high-quality welds in line with project standards. You will work closely with engineers, fabricators, and quality teams to produce precision metalwork that meets strict specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding using Stick Welding (SMAW) or Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) techniques.
• Read, interpret, and work from CAD drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment safely.
• Cut, join, and repair metal components as per specifications.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and QA/QC teams to meet deadlines.
• Report technical issues and progress to supervisors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Welding Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years welding experience in industrial, construction, or manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in CAD for reading and interpreting designs.
• Strong skills in Stick Welding (SMAW) or Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW).
• Knowledge of welding safety procedures, codes, and inspection methods.
• Good physical stamina, manual dexterity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.

Salary
N170,000 Monthly.
