Ensure implementation of Warehouse operating policies and procedures.
Ensure quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met as per the business requirements
Liaise with the cross-functional department and Ensure all the Warehouse transactions are suitably recorded in SAP as per the Warehouse procedures on daily basis.
Ensure that the all the incoming material are managed appropriately which includes Safe receipt, quantity confirmation, material tagging, proper preservation, and material binning.
Coordinate with the User department for quality inspection of the received material and post the same in SAP suitably
Ensure 100% material identification tagging of the stocked material.
Ensure physical stock verification of the material as per the Warehouse operating procedure and related reconciliation, if any.
Ensure 100% accuracy in the physical stock Vs System Stock
Maintain the Inventory Integrity within the system by making sure that all the Inventory transactions are accounted for suitably in SAP.
Ensure FIFO/FEFO methods are followed in the Warehouse
Material preservation as per the requirement or User guidelines
Monitoring and tracking of Shelf life related items in store
Organize the warehouse as per the Item category
Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
Preparation of Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports of Warehouse activities and circulating the same to all concerns.
Responsible for preparation of suitable warehouse documentations like Receipt, Issue, Return, Stock transfer, Gate Pass etc. as per the best practices and advise by the Warehouse Head.
Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and customer service, to coordinate inventory planning, order processing, and customer delivery requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field; master's degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is a plus.
Proven experience in warehouse management, distribution, or logistics operations, with a track record of managing large-scale warehouses or distribution centers.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management principles, logistics processes, and supply chain best practices, with experience in implementing warehouse management systems (WMS).
Familiarity with safety regulations, security protocols, and workplace health standards governing warehouse operations, including OSHA requirements.
Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop warehouse staff, fostering teamwork, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, negotiate with stakeholders, and communicate effectively with internal and external partners.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize warehouse operations and solve complex logistics challenges.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control software, and Microsoft Office applications for data analysis, reporting, and communication.
Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing business needs and market conditions.
