Job Summary

• The Inventory & Warehouse Officer is responsible for the efficient management, control, and movement of all event décor assets, equipment, and consumables.
• This role ensures that inventory is accurately tracked, properly stored, well-maintained, and readily available for events, while minimizing loss, damage, or stock discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management:

• Maintain accurate records of all inventory (props, furniture, fabrics, lighting, décor items, tools, etc.)
• Implement and manage an inventory tracking system (manual or digital)
• Conduct regular stock counts (weekly/monthly) and reconcile discrepancies
• Monitor stock levels and notify management of shortages or replenishment needs

Warehouse Operations:

• Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse space
• Ensure proper labeling, categorization, and storage of all items
• Supervise loading and offloading of items for events
• Ensure items are packed securely to prevent damage during transportation

Event Logistics Support:

• Prepare and dispatch inventory for events based on event briefs
• Cross-check items returned from events to ensure completeness and condition
• Report damages, losses, or missing items immediately
• Work closely with the design and operations team to fulfill event requirements

Asset Maintenance:

• Track condition of all inventory and schedule repairs or replacements
• Ensure delicate or high-value items are handled with extra care
• Maintain a log of damaged, repaired, or retired items

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain proper documentation for inventory movement (check-in/check-out logs)
• Generate periodic inventory reports for management review
• Support audit processes when required

Team Coordination:

• Supervise warehouse assistants and casual staff when required
• Collaborate with procurement, operations, and design teams

Key Requirements
Education & Experience:

• Minimum of OND / HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related fields
• 2 - 4 years experience in inventory, warehouse, or logistics management (event industry experience is a strong advantage).

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic knowledge of inventory software or Excel
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work under pressure, especially during event periods
• Problem-solving mindset.
