Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including inventory management, logistics, staff supervision, and process optimization. The role ensures efficient storage, handling, and dispatch of goods while maintaining safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness in line with company objectives.

Job Details

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
• Develop and implement warehouse policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency and minimize losses.
• Ensure proper stock organization, storage, and retrieval to optimize warehouse space utilization.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy.
• Implement and monitor inventory control systems to prevent stock discrepancies, losses, or damages.
• Work with procurement and sales teams to ensure optimal stock levels and demand forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations (HSE) in all warehouse activities.
• Conduct regular safety checks and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of hazardous materials, if applicable.
• Track warehouse KPIs, including inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rate, and turnaround time.
• Generate regular reports on stock levels, operational efficiency, and cost management.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• MBA or additional training in Operations or Logistics Management is a plus.
• Certification in Warehouse Management, Supply Chain, or Logistics (e.g., CILT, APICS, CSCMP) is an advantage.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in warehouse or logistics management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience in managing large-scale warehouse operations in (industry/sector), e.g. FMCG, Manufacturing, Retail, Oil & Gas, etc
