Warehouse Coordinator at APM Terminals

The warehouse & inventory officer tracks stock movement and ensuring accuracy in inventory management. Conduct regular stock audit and reconciliation processes in support of the objectives of the organization. The role plays a large part in ensuring optimal inventory levels and implementing efficient inventory control processes.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure compliance with inventory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Monitor inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, disposal, and stock adjustments, to ensure compliance with financial controls
• Overseas the engraving, labelling & tagging of asset identification number on all parts/assets
• Conduct regular inventory audits to verify stock levels and identify discrepancies
• Verify and post inventory transactions to ensure accuracy
• Ensure timely replenishment of stock by coordinating with procurement and logistics teams
• Perform regular cycle counts and stock reconciliation
• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment
• Performs any other duties as assigned from time to time which may be deemed to fall within the remit of the post

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of HND/BSc degree in any related field
• 3 - 4 years of relevant experience
• Good understanding of inventory management and control
• Proficiency in computer applications and ERP systems
• Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
