As part of their continued growth, our client is seeking a highly meticulous and proactive Warehouse Audit & Inventory Control Lead to join their Internal Control team. In this pivotal role, you will lead and execute comprehensive warehouse audits, monitor process adherence, and champion data accuracy across all warehouse operations.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify inventory discrepancies, enhance controls, and implement best-in-class inventory management practices.
This role plays a vital part in ensuring operational reliability and integrity as the organization expands its footprint nationwide.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct routine audits across all warehouse and distribution locations.
Verify inbound and outbound merchandise against system entries and physical stock.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in warehouse transactions, ensuring transparent audit trails.
Monitor unresolved allocations and mis-tagged inventory in the ERP system.
Perform periodic inventory snap checks and report exceptions promptly.
Track and report warehouse transactions in ODDO (ERP) and highlight fraud or misuse patterns in collaboration with IT.
Maintain audit documentation and internal control records for regulatory and audit readiness.
Deliver weekly and monthly audit reports with key findings, actions, and follow-ups.
Track tagging, merchandise handling, damage trends, and warehouse shrinkage metrics.
Participate in risk review meetings and support warehouse process improvement efforts.
Requirements
WHAT TO HAVE
HND/BSc in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline
2–3 years of practical experience in warehouse audits, inventory control, or logistics operations
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., ODOO SAP, NetSuite)
Advanced skills in spreadsheet tools (Excel, Google Sheets)
Strong understanding of internal controls, inventory reconciliation, and audit standards
Certifications in internal audit, inventory control, or supply chain (e.g., CIA, CICS, CPIM)(Optional)
