As a waiter/waitress at Huxton Hotel, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction in accordance with the hotel's standards.

Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding menu items.
Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and enter them into the POS system.
Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
Anticipate guests' needs and fulfill special requests to ensure a personalized dining experience.
Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
Assist in setting up tables, arranging table settings, and ensuring cleanliness and tidiness in the dining area.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient and coordinated service delivery.
Process payments, issue receipts, and handle cash transactions accurately.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guests' queries accurately.
Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines and ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
Assist in the training and mentoring of new team members, as required.

Requirements
Candidates should possess a relevant qualification with 2 - 4 years relevant work experience.
Prior experience as a waiter/waitress in a hotel, restaurant, or similar hospitality setting is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle guest requests and concerns tactfully.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Basic math skills for processing payments accurately.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures, including proper serving techniques and etiquette.
Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift trays of food or beverage.
