Vulnerability and Penetration Tester at Eko Electricity Distribution Company

Role Description

• This is a full-time hybrid Vulnerability and Penetration Tester role located in Lagos, but some work from home is acceptable.
• The Vulnerability and Penetration Tester will be responsible for conducting security assessments and penetration testing on Eko Electricity Distribution networks and applications.
• This role will also be responsible for performing vulnerability scanning and security testing of information systems and applications and reporting on security risks and vulnerabilities to relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or a related field with relevant work experience
• Experience in conducting penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on IT systems and networks
• In-depth knowledge of security testing tools such as Metasploit, Nessus and Nmap
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as OWASP, CIS and NIST
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with different departments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification is a plus
