• The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content for various platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of video editing techniques, storytelling, and attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the creative team to develop and execute video concepts and storyboards
• Edit raw footage into compelling videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations
• Trim and organize video clips to create a seamless and engaging final product
• Ensure the video content aligns with the client brand's style, messaging, and objectives
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to project timelines and deadlines
• Stay up to date with industry trends, techniques, and software to continuously improve video editing skill
• Maintain an organized library of video assets and project files for easy access and future use
• Incorporate visual effects, motion graphics, and transitions to enhance the video's impact
• Collaborate with the team to select suitable music, voice-overs, and sound effects for videos
• Stay up to date with industry trends, techniques, and software to continuously improve video editing skills
• Cinematography skills is an added advantage.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Solid understanding of video editing principles and techniques
• Strong portfolio demonstrating video editing skills and creativity
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe premiere pro, Final cut pro, DaVinci Resolve
• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Film Production, Multimedia Design or related field.
• Strong understanding of color grading, audio editing, and motion graphics & animation software (Adobe After Effect)
• Creativity and a keen eye for visual storytelling, composition, and aesthetics
• Knowledge of video optimization for various social media platforms
• Knowledge of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques
