Video Editor (Digital Learning Content) at Uniccon Group

Job Purpose

• The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling high-quality instructional videos for the Learning Management System (LMS). This role requires speed, consistency, and attention to detail to meet structured production targets while maintaining engaging and pedagogically sound content.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished instructional videos aligned with LMS standards
• Ensure consistency in visual style, pacing, transitions, and audio quality across all courses
• Incorporate graphics, subtitles, animations, and branding elements into video content
• Synchronize audio, visuals, and on-screen text for optimal learner comprehension
• Optimize video formats for web-based LMS platforms (compression, resolution, file size)
• Collaborate with Motion Graphics Designers and Graphic Designers to integrate assets
• Follow course templates and production workflows to ensure uniformity
• Manage multiple video projects simultaneously within tight deadlines
• Conduct quality checks and revisions based on feedback

Performance Expectations (KPIs)

• Deliver 1 completed video every 4 working days
• Achieve minimum of 5 high-quality videos per month
• Maintain low revision rates (≤ 2 rounds per video)
• Adhere to production timelines contributing to 25 videos/month team output

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or recognised certifications in Film Production, Media, Communications, or related field
• 3–5 years of professional video editing experience
• Proven experience editing educational or e-learning content is highly preferred

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression
• Experience with audio editing and color correction
• Familiarity with LMS video requirements is an advantage
