Video Content Creator at T40 Technologies

About the role

We\'re looking for a creative and energetic Video Content Creator based in Lagos to develop engaging video content for intercity.ng across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other digital platforms.

You\'ll be responsible for taking ideas from concept to execution — researching trends, developing creative concepts, shooting and editing videos, and creating content that drives awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition.

We\'re looking for someone who understands social-first content, knows what makes people stop scrolling, and can turn everyday travel and transportation experiences into compelling stories.

What you\'ll do

• Develop creative video concepts aligned with intercity.ng\'s brand and marketing goals
• Create short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms
• Film, edit, and publish high-quality video content from concept to final output
• Research social media trends, formats, sounds, and storytelling styles to identify content opportunities
• Create content around travel, transportation, cities, customer experiences, and the intercity.ng brand
• Conduct on-location shoots across Lagos when required
• Write engaging hooks, scripts, captions, and calls-to-action for video content
• Collaborate with the marketing and social media teams to develop content campaigns
• Feature customers, transport operators, creators, and other relevant personalities where appropriate
• Repurpose existing content into multiple formats for different platforms
• Monitor video performance and use insights to improve future content
• Maintain an organized content library and ensure content is delivered consistently
• Stay up to date with emerging content trends, creator formats, and platform best practices

What we\'re looking for

• Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Communications, Film, Media, Mass Communication, or a related field is an advantage
• 1–3 years of experience creating video content for social media, brands, or digital platforms
• Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other short-form video formats
• Ability to develop creative concepts and turn them into engaging stories
• Strong video shooting and editing skills
• Proficiency with tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar editing software
• Comfortable using smartphones, cameras, microphones, lighting, and other basic production equipment
• Strong understanding of social media trends and what drives engagement
• Good communication, storytelling, and presentation skills
• Comfortable appearing on camera or directing people who appear on camera
• Creative, proactive, organized, and able to work independently
• Willingness to travel within Lagos for shoots and content activities
