Vessel Cleaning Technician / Lead / Coordinator III at Scruples Resources

Job Purpose

• To safely perform, supervise and coordinate cleaning, preparation and associated maintenance activities on vessels, tanks and process equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare vessels, tanks and equipment for cleaning.
• Carry out vessel and tank cleaning activities using approved methods and equipment.
• Remove sludge, deposits, residues and contaminants as required.
• Support high-pressure water cleaning and other approved cleaning methods.
• Conduct cleaning activities in accordance with approved procedures.
• Assist with inspection and preparation of vessels after cleaning.
• Handle waste and removed materials in accordance with environmental requirements.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and tools.
• Follow confined-space entry requirements where applicable.
• Follow gas testing, PTW, isolation and HSE requirements.
• Report unsafe conditions and equipment defects.

Lead Technician:

• Supervise vessel cleaning technicians.
• Allocate daily activities.
• Monitor work quality and productivity.
• Ensure correct use of equipment and PPE.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance and HSE personnel.

Coordinator:

• Plan and coordinate vessel cleaning activities.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment and materials.
• Liaise with operations, maintenance and contractors.
• Monitor work progress.
• Maintain work records and report outstanding activities.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree
• Candidates must have at least 7 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Technical/trade qualification is advantageous.
• Relevant vessel/tank cleaning experience.
• Experience in oil & gas or industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of confined-space work and industrial cleaning.
• Knowledge of PTW, gas testing and HSE requirements.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments.
