Our client in the Finance Industry requires the service of a Verification Officer to join their team.
Location: Ikoyi, Lagos.
Responsibilities
Conduct background checks and activity checks of customers and their guarantors.
Verify recorded statements and documentation of customers requesting a loan.
Gather information and evidence through face-to-face interviews with customers and their guarantors.
Complete vouching forms, and produce vouching reports as necessary detailing irregularities that will need to be reported to management for recovery action.
Report on financial systems and the effective management and accounting of loans.
Report on non-compliance and financial irregularities.
Organize all the collected data and information.
Investigate claims and matters relating to customers.
Requirements
Diploma or OND in relevant discipline.
Minimum of 1-2 years work experience as a Verification Officer.
Excellent Communication Skills.
Proficiency in the use of MS Office packages.
