Utility Engineer at Harvest Feed and Agro Processing Limited

Job Summary

• Harvest Feeds and Agro Processing Ltd is seeking an experienced and competent Utility Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, and optimization of utility systems within the facility. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical knowledge of water treatment systems, boiler operations, and power generation/distribution to ensure efficient and uninterrupted plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and maintain water treatment and distribution systems
• Oversee boiler operations and ensure safe and efficient performance
• Monitor power generation and distribution systems to ensure continuous supply
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of utility equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve utility-related breakdowns and operational issues
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate records of utility operations and maintenance activities
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to support plant operations
• Identify opportunities for energy efficiency and cost reduction

Requirements

• Minimum of HND/B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in utility management within a manufacturing or processing environment
• Practical experience in water treatment systems, boiler operations, and power generation/distribution
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Good knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices
• Ability to lead teams and work under pressure
• Proficiency in preparing technical reports and maintenance records

Added Advantage

• Professional engineering certification or membership of a relevant professional body
• Experience in agro-processing, or manufacturing industries
• Knowledge of energy management and utility optimization techniques
