The Unit and Shift Operator is responsible for routine electrical maintenance and facility management of the plant, daily operation, and inspections of mechanical systems. Assists mechanical engineers with testing, maintenance, and repairs.
Responsibilities
Maintain circuit breakers, transformers, generators, and electrical panels.
Ensure availability of electrical spares and infrastructure.
Perform daily and weekly electrical maintenance routines.
Follow safety protocols and complete necessary documentation.
Inspect mechanical equipment and assist with repairs.
Report defects or potential equipment failures.
Perform troubleshooting and repairs for mechanical breakdowns.
Assist with scheduled corrective maintenance and safety compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or HND in Engineering.
NYSC certificate or exemption.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
