Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks to transport goods to specified destinations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in optimal condition.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of vehicle usage.
• Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies while on the road.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse staff to coordinate deliveries.
• Assist in loading and unloading of products as required.
• Monitor traffic patterns and weather conditions to ensure timely arrivals.
• Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with no major violations.
• Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in the warehousing or logistics sector.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to driving.
• Excellent time-management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery and navigate various types of terrain.
