Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport goods and materials between facilities and client locations
• Ensure timely and safe delivery of shipments according to established schedules and routes
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to identify potential maintenance issues
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of deliveries, including invoices.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring secure packaging to prevent damage during transit
• Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel, and clients regarding delivery status and any potential issues

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a truck driver, preferably in the warehousing or logistics industry
• Strong knowledge of highway safety regulations and best driving practices
• Ability to operate a variety of trucks and cargo handling equipment
• Excellent time management skills with a focus on meeting delivery deadlines
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads as required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients
