    Treasury Officer

    JOB SUMMARY

    • This role is responsible for managing the Firm's cash flow, liquidity, and financial risk. This position plays a crucial role in optimizing the Firm's financial resources, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting strategic financial decision-making.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Cash Management:

    • Monitor daily cash balances and manage cash flow to meet operational needs.
    • Execute funds transfers, including disbursements and receipts.

    Bank Relations:

    • Maintain relationships with financial institutions and banking partners.
    • Collaborate with banks to optimize services and streamline transactions.

    Forecasting and Budgeting:

    • Assist in the preparation of cash flow forecasts and budgets.
    • Provide insights on liquidity requirements to support financial planning.

    Investment Management:

    • Evaluate short-term and long-term investment opportunities.
    • Implement investment strategies to maximize returns while managing risk.

    Debt Management:

    • Monitor and manage debt obligations, including interest payments and principal repayments.
    • Evaluate financing options and recommend strategies to minimize costs.

    Financial Risk Management:

    • Identify and assess financial risks, including interest rate and currency risks.
    • Implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard the firm's financial interests.

    Treasury Reporting:

    • Prepare regular reports on cash positions, liquidity, and treasury activities.
    • Contribute to the development of treasury-related policies and procedures.

    Fulfilling Other Responsibilities as Delegated or Assigned:

    • Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

    EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
    • A professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) is advantageous.

    SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of one (1) year cognizant experience.
    • In-depth knowledge of treasury functions, financial instruments, and risk management.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess financial data and trends.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills to convey complex financial information.
    • Proficient in using treasury management systems and financial software.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
    • Understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
    • High ethical standards and integrity in handling confidential financial information.
