Transport Supervisor at Golden Oil Industries Limited

Job Responsibilities -

• Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
• Duties include the following, measurable in terms of time, cost, quality or quantity.
• Day-to-Day Management - To ensure daily / weekly plans are made and achieved for transport movement and other support operations with minimum or zero deviation.
• To have regular input on transport freights and other related information to plan your costings accordingly.
• To supervise on consumption of diesel, log book and movement of drivers and vehicles.
• To ensure necessary documents before loading and offloading.
• To communicate within departments for planning, administrative and other general management issues, which will include the day-to-day operations and timely dispatch strategy.
• Customer Relationships - To develop good network of transporters to ensure timely vehicles and get best prices and services.

Reporting - To prepare all applicable reports in time for accuracy and in order to ensure that they match the functional requirements, policies and standards.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• HND/Bachelors Degree
• Relevant experience of a minimum of 5 years would be needed.
•  Must have managed fleet operations of a minimum of 50 commercial vehicles in some manufacturing or transport company.
• Well-versed with MS Excel.
• As per the need of the business the job is transferrable and posting can be made anywhere in Nigeria/West Africa.
